I find it to be complete bullshit that it is not allowed in so many places. What, do they expect babies to go hungary? Why are so many of you so ****** up about this?

I know the feeling. That is one of the reasons I started supplementing with formula. I don't feel comfortable with everyone staring at me as if I'm doing something wrong. Um hello? Babies need to eat, too! I wish people didn't look at it so screwed up, but they do.

Its because most people look at a womans breast as nothing but sexual. what makes me mad is when they tell you that it needs to be done in the bathroom. Um, do YOU eat in the bathroom? Why should a baby? I dont care if you have a problem with it or not, if my child is hungry, I'm going to feed him no matter where I am. Same with "covering" with a blanket. Why dont YOU put a blanket over your head when you eat?

I don't have a problem with it if the woman covers the baby's head and her breast with a little blanket or something. I just think it should be done as private as possible, not because it's offensive but because it should be a special time between a mother and child not a display for the whole world to see.
