I am very diorganized and trying to get my home clean for me and my family. I was just wondering if FlyLady is really worth my time and if it really works as good as it appears?

It does work but you have to stick with it even when you feel lazy. After about a month you end up doing things without looking at your list and you will notice a difference in your home. I have been a member for a year and its great to open closets and drawers and seeing everything organised. Plus if someone shows up unannounced you are always ready!

ABSOLUTELY!! Try it for a month and you'll see. I like what FLYlady says about you never being behind....you can jump in anywhere. I have had times where I've been laid up with illness, and I don't stress about what has to be done. Do follow her suggestions and take "Baby Steps" in the beginning...that's how you develop habits. It is a great system!

www.flylady.net. It's free to sign up. You get a lot of email a day, but they tell you to just try and not give up. 15 minutes for any task. (And the timer!) They have 27 fling boogies, where you grab the trash can and try to throw away 27 items of clutter.

A lot of it is testimonials and stuff I don't read. What I love though is the Missions. Every week there is a zone in the house. And that zone is divided up through the week. Like one week it will be the bathroom, the next week the kitchen, etc... It's just a good kick in the pants to get motivated.

And always shine your sink! :)

My wife and I do use it, and it helps give us ideas on where to start, but 15 minutes usually turns into 1 hour.

Yes, it works. She understands how overwhelmed you can be trying to manage a busy life. It's like having a really good Mom helping you get your whole life organized.

It doesn't work for me, but I know ladies (and men) who SWEAR by it! I like the Sidetracked Home Executives better.

What is FlyLady? Is it a cleaning product, an aphrodisiac, or a maid service?
