They can never make dinner or do dishes, it will be impossible. The next possible thing expected of cellphones/mobile phones is to destroy mankind.

They are going to be implanted into your body, the sound going straight into the ear bone, as in hearing aid devices now. The only draw back, given that pace makers are now battery efficient, is our dear old government will be able to access your whereabouts, 24/7! Oh yes dialling will not be needed as your think or visualise who you want to ring and the phone then dials automatically. Camera via one of your eyeballs? Probably the best phone in the world?

It is possible to have a 'communications' device surgically implanted.
Quite how you'd 'dial a number,' I'm unsure. However, the downside is that 'ones whereabouts could always be traced,' and should there ever be a time when we have a Government we really don't want.........
You get where I'm going with this?
Sash.

Don't know about that but I'm sure in my lifetime every house will have a robot who will do all the household chores. I want a realistic looking one like Arnie in Terminator! No Metal Mickey for me.

We'll end up with 'mobile phone chips' implanted in our brains. Then all we will have to do is think the phone number and we will call them with our mind and converse with people in our thoughts!!!.....or maybe not....

Nope, they'll just cost more to run.

Why would they become helpful gadgets all of a sudden??
Theya re already bothersome, take up time, lessen productivity and cost more than theya re worth... and the situation should get worse.

If you ask stupid questions like this, you won't be around to find out!!! (By the way, I don't think you can compare "women" to "mobile phones").

No, but eventually someone will come up with a version that can be surgically implanted.
