If I were stranded alone on a desert island, my biggest challenge would be survival. I've lived in the city all my life and have no idea about how to survive in the wild. I'd have to learn how to hunt, start fire, build shelter and desalinate water very quickly. If I could survive, I would still probably be incredibly bored in my idle moments. I'm used to TV, video games, Internet and stuff like that to keep me entertained. I'd also miss conversation and human interaction. If I had some paper and pens with me, I suppose I could write a journal to keep my sanity and perhaps publish it and make some money after I was rescued.

I think I can survive alone on a deserted island. And actually enjoy the first few days also. The challenge ofcourse would be to find a steady supply of food and water and make an acceptable shelter.

I will miss my wife and son, the internet, yahoo answers and my friends and barbecue evenings, football. But I will always hope that someday I will meet all of them again. The world is a very small place now.

I forage and survive pretty well here in the Ozarks, but I'm not so sure about an island, learning about the different vegetation and critters would be the biggest challenge. I would miss Yahoo! Answers, but I could get by without it. I could make it, with my friend Wilson.

If I were stranded and alone on a deserted island, I'd miss most my loved ones. My biggest challenge would be forcing myself to kill animals and eat their meat.

I don't think I would stay sane 4 more than 2 weeks. My biggest challenge would the be the fear of not being rescued or dying on the island. I would miss my family the most.

Yes, I believe that I could survive quite comfortably; although I admit that I am a very private person anyway.
What I would wish for most is a complete collection of the works of 19th century Russian authors.

I would miss my husband the most. I would be able to survive if I could find food and water and then I would do my best to keep alive hoping for a way back.

I already have survived being in solitary for 16mo. The only thing I missed was the opportunity to crush some fool's dreams.
