The essence of life: is finding who you really are. Is happiness and love your purpose? Why do you exist? Who made you? Life is a search for meanings. And looking for meanings could possibly be endless. And its something that you cannot do in your lifetime. But living, like what everyone does now...being absorb of material things and worldly things...is not living at all...LIFE IS THE SEARCH FOR TRUTH.
