I heard that there is a new Jurassic Park film announced, anyone know anything about it?

Yes Jurassic park 4 will be filming next year (2007) the scrip has Just been completed. (Making finishing touches)
They are hoping for a 2008 release.

unconfirmed story: 65 million years ago a terrible disease plunged the earth witch brought about the extinction of the dinosaurs. In the early 80's when InGen cloned the dinosaurs, they also brought back this disease with them and has been present ever since Jurassic park 1 (explaining the sick Triceratops and Brachiosaur). Now this disease has become fully active in the dinosaurs and they are all getting very ill. When dinosaur carcasses start washing up on shore of "Costa Rica" a team (including Allen Grant) are called out to find out what is going on. They head to the island to study the dinosaurs and find out about the disease, known as DX. They discover the disease is transferable to humans and could passably bring on our own extinction

There's nothing inappropriate in it and no foul language. It is a sci-fi but it is family friendly. There are kids in the movie and the fear/comfort element between them and one of the adults.

that wus probaly a rumor Jurassic quit at 3 i am soo sad though cause i loved their movies and i wish they would come out with another!!
