God, the President and the devils tool, the half-truth ?

The next time you see the President of the USA end his speach with the comment, 'God Bless America', ask youself the question what is the President leaving out ?

If the United States is concerned about the various nations in the world, the more appropriate closing would be 'God bless America and the World'. In reality most all Americans and Canadians have family origins in Europe and abroad.

While the former is correct, it is a half-truth, and one type of half-truth, while true forms a polarizing divisive lie( a tool of the devil) would it not be more correct for his closing to be, "God bless America and the world "?

Bush is the "Devil's Advocate". Bush is not concerned about the various nations of the world, or he'd be leading a fight for world peace.
Bush is a puppet, installed by the nameless, faceless sub-humans who really control our government: the special interest groups, big oil companies, lobbyists, military-industrial complex, wealthy elitists, and big business.
Yes, a more appropriate closing to his speech would be "God bless American and the world".
But the best closing to his speeches would be "God keep America - and the world - safe from the likes of dimwitted spoiled rich kids who become President of the United States and then think they're smart enough to play cowboys and Indians with real weapons." -RKO-

The president of the USA is empowered to lead and protect the USA and look out for its best interests. This is his primary function. The secondary function is to cause peace and harmony among the nations of the world, because we are the most powerful non-evil nation in the world. With all this in mind and the fact that he is American and a Christian, he is perfectly entitled to plead to almighty God for blessings on HIS people and HIS country.

It has nothing to do with "truth" or "half-truths" as you put it. If I were the president I would say the following:

"God bless America and all nations striving for peace and prosperity, and may God CURSE all nations bent on terrorism, evil and the destruction of their neighbor!!!"

Well, really... do you know any politicians that tell the truth. Perhaps we should just be grateful that the president is not Teddy Kennedy, who runs around in his underwear chasing young girls, and letting a girl get drowned in his car without going for help. Or how about John Kennedy who removed the life-boat from his PT boat, and then turned off his boat's engine against standing orders, then was unable to get it started again to avoid being hit by a large Japanese ship? Wow, what a family.

Yes,
If we had someone decent like Hilary as President we would be much more in tune with the rest of the world and what needs to be done for humanity as a whole before we are all in one.
Vote Democrat.
