I would have to say in my lifetime. I really can't judge anybody beyond that as I am being told what to think, but with Bush I have seen him in action, I am 60, my memory goes back as far as Eisenhower and I can not think of any president that has made so many mistakes in judgment in two terms of office.

Everyone is answering this question by party affilliation and not using their heads. Richard Nixon is the worst president of all time. Calvin Coolidge is in the mix so is John Quincy Adams. I do not believe Bush is a very good president and I would agree Carter is in the bottom 10. We live in a time now that party affiliation splits us so much that we will never have a top 5 president ever again. No one can touch what Washington, Lincoln, FDR and Jefferson did for the country.

The fool mendacity unlawful presently within the White House is by way of some distance the worst. He pissed away 800 billion in his first three months in workplace bailing out his neighbors, whatever the left blames on bush however bush certainly not spent 800 billion and that used to be only a begin for the mendacity unlawful. He spent extra money in his first 2 years in workplace than Bush did in 8 and the complete nation is obviously worse off now than ever.

I could think of presidents that are worse, but also understand there are now 300 million people now which was more than ever before we have the best economy of all time and unemployment is at its lowest....but you being of the basher community because we know how you love to honestly debate and not bash, right...well, your questions show that....

Andrew Johnson was worse. so C. & D are wrong
I would vote A. because I've only lived with 4 presidents and Reagan was the best president.

carter was bad, but what about Nixon? what about Clinton? talk about a total disgrace to the office, admiting to B-J's in the oval office! what a disgrace! maybe iraq wasn't the best decision, but you gotta admit, Saddam was a pretty bad guy. he needed to be taken out. i guess The President could have used the CIA, but the CIA budget was cut under CLinton, and they don't have the resources.
Personally, I gotta go with Nixon, but Clinton is a close second.

I believe no to all of your questions. Our president is in the middle of a war and is trying his best to do what he believes is right. We have to remember that he IS a human just as we are humans. He only wants what is best for our country and indeed he may sometimes make mistakes but not because he is out to destroy us but because he is trying to help our country. If you have complaints about him try to find ways that you can help out. Maybe send letters or something but don't be such a pessimist. I find it just awful when people go out of their way to criticize someone they have never personally met or have ever actually had an intellectual conversation with.

I vote for all of the above, but would attribute it to Jimmy Carter, not George W. Bush. That guy was a total joke.

No, Bush will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents, because his tax cuts for the working people.
Carter & Clinton will go down as the worst.
Carter will be at the very bottom.
