Your comuter is saying the that the ammount of virtual memory is running low, and hence it is creating a queue of that require processing.

Goto my computer, click on view system information, click the advanced tab

then select performance options, then select advanced and at the bottom is virtual memory, click change, and then select custom size and increase it.

The system makes recomendation for page file sizes (basically this is virtual memory) and will tell you the maximum.

So lets look at what causes this....

Your pc has a finite ammount of memory, but that is never gonna be enough so windoes create virtual memory.

Virtual memory is actually part of your hard disk, that the memory uses as a temporary storeage area. If it gets full it lays some information onto your hard disk and then erases it from memory to free up memory for other tasks.

What happens then, is when that data is required for processing, it then dumps some other stuff into the page file, and then reads what it needs back.

this is HIGHLY inefficient.

You pc's way of telling you it needs more RAM for christmas.

hope this helps

I remember answering this question for someone before... You have to have your Virtual Memory set to 150% of your system memory, If your memory is too low and yours is set to Let windows decide, then you will get this message. If you want to know how to set your virtual memory to 150% of your system memory, let me know... Also please tell me how much system memory you have...

It means you don't have enough RAM to run the programs you are trying to run. My suggestion would be to run a virusscan (updated) and a Spyware program to make sure there isn't something runnign behind the scenes. Failing that you need to add RAM.
