Great question. Because of the fact that so many manufactures have their popup blockers on the market, they're everywhere. Not only do you have your own blocker which is part of your Windows Secutity (And found in the control panel by the way" if you use a server like AOL as an example, they also offer their customers a popup blocker which is part of their toolbar. A lot of sites that you visit have their own popup blocker waiting for you in case you might want it. The fact is: You can NOT have but one popup blocker running. Conflicts are started when you have more than one program trying to perform an application for you, thus creating an Identity crises. None of them know who's really suppose to perform the application. Think of it this way. If you call two cabs to pick you up, there's gunna be a fight between the drivers, trying to see who is gunna be named as the " #1 Defualt" or the " 2nd rate, low life #2, in case the Defualt happens to get hit by a Mac Truck, lol. While that conflict is going on, the passenger is getting NO service. The same holds true for your popup blocker. Thanks for the great question. Larry (RadioShack 01-9590)
