should be on the back of the box. and can anyone tell me how you know what your p.c. can take, don't you have to type in a special code or something???

You do have to have the code. If you still have the box the system requirements should be on a back of a piece of paper in the box. If the code is not on the back of the box there is numerous it sometimes shows up. Try looking on the papers in the box. It should be on the manual. If you still have trouble go to www.ea.com and look under the help. They will also have a tech support number to call if problems still persist.

If you have a T&L capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM then you need at least:
