Just got this car... very balanced for performance and comfort...everything works just fine but I feel a slight wobble when cruising on the free way... also a slight shudder when I go above 80mph. Can anyone make anything of this?

Wheels probably need balancing

You do not say what the mileage is on the car. That would have helped.

Most likely the tires and wheels need balancing. It is also possible that you have suspension bushings that are getting a little soft. The "give" in the bushings can accentuate balance problems. It is also possible you may have shock absorbers that are getting a little worn and leaking past the seals. There is also the outside chance that one of the tires is beginning to separate internally, which will eventually destroy the tire and damage a wheel.

If you have over 90000 miles on the car you should have it given a good going over by a qualified Mercedes Mechanic.
