In the past few months I have found brown worms, 2-3 inches long, some thin, some thick, in my house. I live in a 2nd floor condo, but the suckers crawl up the sides of the house, I see them from the outside! It just seems to be increasing. Any ideas what I can do to prevent them from getting in???? Please help!

Determined little guys!

You might want to lay down salt, diatomaceous earth, or some similar substance to kill them before they get into your house. And look at the seals around your doors and windows.

Good luck!

They are probably tent caterpillars that are found crawling up fruit trees and oak trees. thousands are hatched from cocoons laid in trees by moths, Then they eat the leaves from that tree and climb down to go up the next tree for their next meal. They are seasonal and will go away. if you see any cocoons stuck to the side of the house brush them off to destroy next year's crop of them.

They used to be killed by DDT but now that is out of favor and the insects are thriving but the trees are dying.

look at where they are coming in and seal the hole/place they're coming in (or get pest control).
