Mudvayne is a *really* great band....but not the best ever, BUT i would chose them over about 88% of other bands

certainly ace and they put more ideas into one album than some bands put into a careers worth. they have a great image too. they are hugely under-rated and not as popular as they should be, but somewhat unfortunately i feel that their music is just too clever and intelligent to have a mass market appeal. but all of this does not make them the best band ever, im afraid.

Not even close.
I can count on my fingers bands that are superior to them.
(For starters, try Opeth or Ayreon.)
