the tires on my new bicycle?

I live in a small studio apartment with no balcony and the smell is making my eyes water and nose itch.

I have tried the idea of scrubbing with soap and water and did get a coating of something off the tires. It still reeks. Also tried Goo Gone for kicks and giggles.

I asked this questions a couple of weeks ago and got few and no helpful answers ((they were: use soap and water (tried it), nail polish (didn't work), febreez (it's a chemical smell not a fart), and something about tampons.))

Since you got so few answers and don't seem to be doing too well now, call the place where you bought your bicycle and/or tires and ask them. If this is not helpful, call any major tire company in town, like Goodyear. If that doesnt help call any place in town that repairs and sells and installs tires. Guys that work with the smell everyday should know how to kill it.

Since you spell tyres as tires, you are obviously American.
However, since the smell is unbearable to you, and no one has come up with a solution, may I suggest a simple but radical answer :-

Go out and buy a couple of brand new ones.
Hey Presto !!
Problem solved.

place a plate full of un-used coffee grounds near the smell,or maybe wash the tires with a baking soda solution
