I am sure it will make both you and husband laugh - Peter Kay is a very funny man and his talent is quite obvious, but i wonder about our obcession with celebrity - why he and everyone from the obnoxious Jade Goody to the pneumatic Jordan feel the need to inflict every aspect of their lives upon us at £16.99 - £20.00 a pop - stocking filler anyone? I love Peter Kay and have most of his DVD's so this isnt bah-humbug, but I object to reading about their so called 'struggle for fame and the grinding heartache' they had to endure - there are endless stories out there of people who struggle to deal with life with the same good humour and the same determination to do something with their lives and have suffered far worse so sorry Peter, own goal here - rather like Billy 'I know Prince Andrew' Connelly, you are in danger of selling out, your Mum wants a bungalow - you want a 32 room mansion

I haven't read it but apparently it's not so much of an autobiography as a run through of the funnny stories in his life because there's nothing particularly honest or revealing about it for it to be called an autobiography. I'll bet it's still a good read though. So, I'd say buy it and let your hubby read it with a brew and t'big light on.

loved that e book. Made me snigger besides as his humour comes accross in his writing besides. also examine his 'unauthorised' biography which replaced into exciting yet no longer as humorous because the single he wrote. Peter Kay is a legend.
