No you can never drink too much milk while you're pregnant. you and your baby needs alot of calcium and that is the way to do it. Milk is very good for you but if you start gaining too much weight then drinl 2% milk. You are probably having cravings and don't notice it because most people usually have cravings at about 2 months. i didn't have a craving for one specific thing but i ate alot of things that i didn't eat before i was pregnant and i didn't eat after like when i was pregnant i loved sour things but now and before i hated them. but be glad that you don't have cravings because sometimes you can't have what you're craving and one moment you will want to eat something and when you get it then you don't even want it any more so alot of food gets waisted. GOOD LUCK!

You dont want to consume too much of anything.
Vitamins A, D, E, and K are the ones that your body stores and you can overdose on those vitamins. D is in milk. Ask the question to your doctor. You probably wont end up drinking too much. If you are unsure talk with your doctor and stick to about under 8 glasses a day. I drink milk all the time (not pregnant myself) and I have never gotten sick or anything. I would say I go through a gallon of milk, alone, a week. So stick to a gallon a week, not more than that.

The recommended amount of milk per day is 24 ounces -- that's about four glasses a day. But you can break that up by eating low-fat yogurt or other dairy products, too. (Just be careful about what kind of cheese you're eating!)

Not all pregnant women experience weird food cravings. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and haven't craved anything throughout my whole pregnancy.

I'm 21 weeks and I haven't really had any cravings yet, but I can't seem to get enough milk. I want like at least 2 or 3 glasses a day. I'm going through a gallon a week. I don't think it's really bad for you as long as it's not whole milk.

I don't think you can ever drink 'too much' milk, especially when you're pregnant!
As for cravings, everyone is different. I only had a 'need' to eat red meat (medium rare) with my 1st one. (I have 3.) I had more food aversions - I couldn't stand the sight of uncooked chicken - than cravings. I've also become REALLY scent-sensitive! I can NOT stand the smell of roses, cinnamon or sweet perfume. Odd, but true!
Good luck to you!!

It's not that the milk is bad for you, it's not. However I produced a lot of stomach acid during my pregnancies, and a little milk helps, but too much can aggrivate it.

Personally I never had any cravings, but we are all different. I think they start in the second trimester.

no you don't want to drink too much milk while pregnant... it will pack the weight on you like crazy and it is hard to get offafter the baby comes... besides it has alot of hormones in it and there are no studies to indicate what the effects are...

And not everyone has cravings

I dont think that you can get enough milk. my doctor BEGS me to drink more milk but it's sooo disgusting to me. she just tells me to eat all the cereal i want. lol :-) keep in mind that you are developing your baby's bones and if you want an abundance of calcium, more than a woman that isn't pregnant. you dont want the pregnancy to affect your own bone density or calcium. the baby's gonna get it's calcium regardless so make sure YOU have enough! congrats!
