I am 33 and for about 5-6 years whenever I have sex it hurts and I bleed afterwords. I have IBS with constipation pretty bad so I think that's the pain part but the bleeding? Ultrasound and laporoscopy have shown nothing. Now I have had 2 misacrriages in the last 10 months.

Despite negative laparoscopies, you sound like a hallmark Endometriosis case, right down the IBS symptoms. It is entirely possible that the surgeon(s) simply didn't recognize the disease and failed to properly biopsy from the correct areas during your last surgeries; also, U/S and other diagnostics are poor predictors of Endometriosis, as they rarely show the presence of the disease - and it cannot be confirmed without direct visualization and histopatholgy results anyway. I would suggest that you see a new doctor, one who truly understands the disease and can help you through surgical excision. For more information on that technique, see http://www.centerforendo.com. Don't give up hope!! Hang in there and feel better...I hope you get an accurate diagnosis and truly effective treatment very soon.

I am only 23,I am going through sorta the same thing.I already know I have endometriosis, which causes painful sex, bad periods, and fertility problems.Lucikly I have two babies though.I recently started bleeding with sex.My doctor says it may be an infection even though he found no infection in me.He said it could also be polyps on the uterus or deplasia.go to your doctor. The only thing endo does not usually cause is the bleeding after sex. From someone that has had endo for 8 yrs though I would say this is probably what is going on.It can only be detected through surgery. It will not show up on ultrasounds.Sometomes endo is microscopic and will not show up in laproscopies either which is why it can not be cured.
