Some girls loose their "virginity" as your saying at a young age with gymnastics or horseback riding. You only lose your "virginity" with sexual intercourse. And there has been some cases that the hymen doesn't even break with that.

No.The Hymen gets broken and that is considered the actual loss of virginity. It is a thin stretch of skin covering the vagina. Some women actualy lack this tissue. In that case the first sex act of penetration would be considered loss of virginity.
