Depending on the size and if you can totally remove them : you place them in your bath tub filled with liquid detergent let them soak a while> then you drain the water and rinse them of with your shower head / massager let all the water drain and hang them back up. You can wipe them dry if you do not care to wait. I hope this is helpful and you have an easy time with it .

What I do is fill the tub with lysol or bleach and water and put my blinds in to soak while I'm cleaning the windows. After I'm done with the windows, I take a rag and wipe down the slats, then hang the blinds up to drain and dry a bit before I return them.

I used to make it a spring project. I took them down, put them outside on a picnic table, sprayed them with a hose, wiped them with a soft soapy sponge, and sprayed them again. I did this for each side, then let them dry in the sun.

You may try washing it at your garage with running water from a hose. You may put in some liquid soap and brush them gently. You may dry them afterwards.

Put them in your bathtub and spray with "fantastic w/bleach. Let them sit for a couple minutes and then spray them off with the jet setting on your sprayer. This will get most of the dirt off without you scrubbing each one.

warm wet cloth works well. Just close them and gently go over them.
