If there were a threat made by terriorists on election day, it would give me even more reason to got to the poll, which would be to show that terrorists do not make me a weak and cowardly person like them. I flew about a month after 9/11 and had no problems. Ironically my (now future husband) was booked on American Airlines Flight 11 but over slept (as usuall) and thankfully missed his flight.

If the country is not secure by now it won't be in two weeks. No do not postpone the election, if you change your life or weaken the constitution because of terrorist then the terrorist have one. They have accomplished what they have set out to do. I will vote on Nov. 7 if the polls are open at 8 I will be there at 5 after.

It would be an awful idea to postpone electons due to a terrorist threat. By postponing the elections, you are sending a message to the terrorist that what they are doing is working. They would continue with their threats in earnest. If there was a credible threat, I would still go to the polls, because it is my obligation as a citizen of this country to cast my vote.

think Bush would order citizens to do their duty no matter what and expect them to shoot a couple of bad guys both on their way in and on their way out of the polls. I know I would. I really need to buy a gun. And learn how to use it.
I support Bush and the USA and would gladly give up my life to defend our way of life. "Lets Roll!"
I don't think any outside force has any right attempting to influence our elections and to do so with violence is absolutely a capital offense in my book. Americans will not respond as the Spanish did. Just look at Flight 93.
The sun had not set on 9-11 when just plain folks were striking back.
You are either with us, or against us. This is war bro.

i think of there must be some fact to this. there have been somewhat some former Bush administration officers that have come out against the Bush administration. Bush's former press secretary has. His head of the place of work of criminal council ability that the Bush administration push him to place in writing criminal critiques that crossed the line of legality so as that they could legally escape with doing unlawful acts. And now this from the former US place of delivery protection chief. those human beings have been employed as a results of fact they have been extremely conservative. those are not liberals aiming assaults on the former Bush administration. those are extremely conservatives that have been hand picked by way of the Bush administration to artwork for them as a results of fact they have been extremely conservative. a narrative will become so plenty extra plausible while it comes from human beings of the comparable political occasion. And Tom Ridge is thru far no longer the 1st to accuse his former bosses of misdeeds.

A threat would not stop me
An actual attack? I voted in a primary on 911, and shorty after the WTC was hit. They cancelled to election and rescheduled it for sometime later.

A terrorist threat is not going to keep me from doing anything. Let alone perform my duty as an American citizen.

Of course not. It didn't stop the Iraqis from voting, why should it stop us?
Besides, even if it did happen, the US government receives hundreds of threats every day. There's no reason to stop living just because we're always receiving threats.

Not at all.
If our soldiers can face these psychopaths on the streets of Baghdad, I can face them on US soil in the voting booth. To give in to these murderers and cower in fear would be handing them a victory.
If the Iraqis can walk through mine fields to vote, I can certainly handle a "threat". No one will ever stop me from voting. I am an American.
