The Olympic Stadium will have a running track around the pitch
for this reason West Ham United will not move there.
Nor will any other top flight team, having a running track around the pitch means the fans are distant from the action this is not popular at all in English Football

In order for a club to experience new heights, they must expand and grow. West Ham is no different. Without growth and improvement, success is likely to be both difficult and short lived. Clubs must better themselves and evolve, as should their stadiums. Stadiums represent a clubs ambition, fan base, and a means of revenue - all crucial elements to success. Have the decision makers of West Ham considered the option of moving to a stadium with a larger capacity? I would imagine so. Will they Move? No doubt one day such a statement will be addressed to their fans. Will it be to the London 2012 stadium after the Olympics? A question for which I have no answer.

I Don't As It Makes No Diff To Me Either Way. Surely A Top Flight Team Would Benefit More From The Move Though.

As The Olympic Stadium will have a running track around the pitch it will not be any good to West Ham United as their players are too lazy to run around ON the pitch never mind around it!

They'd only fill it twice a year. Look at Espanyol's experience in Barcelona after the 92 Games and you can see it's a bad idea.

it will be good for them because it will give them bigger crowds which will give them more money to spend on better players resulting in them attracting better players and then progressing up the league
