It's not wrong to be gay, and it's most definitely not wrong to be a gay Christian. You're not the first and won't be the last. To be a practising homosexual is incompatible with Christianity as is any sexual relationship outside marriage. I don't think the 2 can survive together.

Being both is commendable, good for you. You shouldn't feel like you have to justify yourself to the World for your beliefs and sexual preferences. Be your own person, don't be put-off or influenced by what the 'pack' think of you and/or mainstream society.
At least you're not a lying, murderous, deceitful, coward, AND the most powerful man in the World.

It's definitely good to be gay. And if you believe in a god, it's definitely okay because your god made you that way.
However, after reading the comments over here, I am beginning to doubt whether it's good to be christian! How self-righteous are some people that they think they know that their god doesn't approve of homosexuality? Who are you to speak for god?
Referring to the bible is no use, since god didn't write the bible. The bible was written over a long period of time (we are talking about centuries here!) by many, many different people.

Being gay is neither good nor bad. I am Christian , so for me that is good, but for you it would be what is true to your personal beliefs regarding spirituality. What makes you good or bad is how you conduct yourself in your daily living.
Are you responsible?
Kind?
Considerate?
Self supporting?
Honorable?

Unfortunatley you cant lead a Christian lifestyle aswell as a gay one.
As you will know " If you are Christian, God does not permit homosexuality",
