GOOD IDEAS.
~we need to stop throwing away money and lives in iraq as quickly as is possible without completely leaving them hanging after dismantaling their gov.
~there are pros and cons to raisiing minimum wage, but it's definitely not a scary idea.
~many seniors can't afford the medications they really, really need. trying to lower prices so they don't have to suffer is not only a good idea, but a moral responsibility.
~it's much better to keep jobs that can be done in the usa here rather than outsourcing to other counrties. maybe if our current gov tried this the unemployment rate wouldn't be so high....
~if you can't see why making it easier for people to afford college is a good idea, there's nothing i can say in a few sentences that will enlighten you. i assume you're not retarded, so you can figure it out.
~same goes for this one.

Honestly, I believe that these are empty promises, except for the bugging out of Iraq because they've been whining about that for a long time.

Raise the minimum wage; sure they will, and drive a lot of small businessmen into bankruptcy, meaning less jobs.

Sure, the government negotiating for lower prices, that happens a lot, right? I doubt it. What's that saying about a camel is a horse designed by a government committee?

Repeal corporate incentives to take jobs overseas? With George Soros leading that charge? Ain't gonna happen. He's already moved all of his assets offshore so he doesn't have to pay the taxes he'd impose on you.

Make college tuition tax deductible? For whom? DEMOCRATS DO NOT CUT TAXES.

Implement all of the 9/11 recommendations, and raise your taxes even higher. For what reason? Under the Republicans, we have not had an attack on these shores since 9/11. What else can they do?

Their ideas suck.

Those are all excellent ideas exept for raising the minimum wage. By raising the minimum wage, it will only drive the cost of products up, creating additional inflation.

phase in islamofacist regime by Dec,2007

raise minimum wage to pacify base, but will take more taxes out of it, cause prices to go up, make where can't hire/ keep people.

drug companies taking care of this through competition won/t be necessary

no tax breaks for anybody!

We are far past the 9-11 commission.

The Democrats have their heads too far up their asses to accomplish anything. They will not win everything they thing they will. They are too stupid to capitalize on the problems in this administration. I think a change is needed but putting the Libs in charge is like burning the house down because of a cockroach infestation(insert Illegal immigrant joke here)

Bush has already implemented thos recomendations

tuition is tax deductible

the US government can not dictate what business does in other countries

you dems already voted against rasing the minimum wage

a phased withdrawl will never happen, we are there to stay.

you forgot to mention repeling all tax cuts and increasing taxes

you also forgot to mention plans to Impeach Bush even though he has not committed crimes.

you also forget thet even if the dems win, the president still has veto power ha!

Some of them are ok, some of them are stupid. They are all very vague.

Even if the Dems win one or both houses, it won't be by very much. So they will not have enough seats to override a Bush veto. So it really doesn't matter.

--leaving a country in shambles before democracy can actually take hold
--raising the basic cost of living therefore making the raise in minimum wage useless
--still allowing drug companies to rip off the rest of the poor
--i am okay with this one only because i am sick of talking to people with horrible accents
--not taking a stand against the rising cost of colleges by capping tuition prices, but giving certain people a chance to get some of the money back.. not all.. btw we are not afforded a free education or healthcare. rememeber
--how much do you know about 9/11 recommendations?

Scares the hell out of me on a number of levels. Some ideas seem OK and would be helpful, mainly minimum wage, tuition, and possibly drug price negotiations but most ideas listed are wishmaster spin that could and would never be possible or even possibly harmful in todays' world. Vote strong...vote republican.
