you don't think all of the people and all the resources we use could not affect the environment somehow? Republicans are ignorant of this.

I'm not a liberal but how could global warming be a scare tactic? You should try and do some research about it from reputable websites before you start spewing and making conservatives look bad. Global warming is real and I think if you don't want to believe it then don't but don't say moronic things.

No, I don't think it is a scare tactic. There is a HUGE amount of evidence for global warming, and I think that just about anyone with detailed knowledge of the issue believes that. What I think is more of a scare tactic is the conservatives trying to show that the liberals are soft on national security while this administration is following a policy that is PROMOTING hatred of the US.

Here in Michigan, I havn't seen any indication of global warming. It is pretty cold outside. Maybe it is a scare tactic.

Hell, I worry more about global pollution. The river in Nashville, TN smells like sewage.
I believe at this time, there are more people alive than has ever been at one time. More people= more waste. I'm not worried about global warming at this point, but it is probably being used as political ammunition but it shouldn't be.

But whose going to clean up the planet if EVERY-body doesn't help?
Politicians will use anything to sling mud. It's a very old tactic.

To do what? Find alternative energy methods? Encourage cleaner methods of manufacturing?

I really don't understand why this has become a left vs. right issue, other than the fact that Al Gore is speaking out about it, or why the right is making science the bad guy.

It is a scare tactic. They are afraid that they might die soon. OMG I never thought that one day i might die. They use this to control business and peoples choices in life. And they talk about freedom?

As large as the Earth is, how could man possible control nature? The left does not believe in cycles in weather. Weather has only been recorded for a few hundred years, and not very accurately at first.

It's a cause for concern, but not a reason to hide in my basement and tape the windows shut, or change my vote. Have you seen the new RNC commercial. It's being previewed on their website's homepage.

No it isn't and it shouldn't be a political issue. I am not a liberal, by the way.
