He may have done this as a reminder of some kind. He also may want people to ask him why his nail is painted green. It looks like most people think you should just go ahead and ask. Go ahead and ask him, there could be a good story behind (or under) the green nail!

Does it indicate the actual snorting activity or does it simply have a social connotation? Sounds like someone is trying hard to fit in. As for the painted fingernail . . . he should grow up! If he wants to be a "cool" clergyman, he should do so by actions and accomplishments, not by appearance . . .

I would think if you go to the church, or even if you don't, he could be talked to pretty easily, and just ask him, "I couldn't help noticing your nail is greem. Why is that?" and smile ( not like you're coming onto him or anything, just a friendly smile) and maybe he'll tell you. Sounds weird to me a little, but I've seen weirder things! LOL You're sure it's nail polish and not a fungal infection, right? LOL!!!

He may have a fungus on the nail he is trying to treat, or it might be there to remind him of something, like the old string around the finger. ASK HIM and let us know!!

Maybe he's into christian rock? Maybe his daughter (if any) was playing around and painted it. Maybe it's a statement he's trying to make, ask him.
