Take it from a freshman varsity starter. Have good dribbling skills is not going to be enough to make it. Shooting 50% isn't either. If you are trying to attract college or NBA scout scouts, you are going to have to be great. It's alot harder than it seems. Just because you are good on your middle school team doesn't mean that it will be the same in high school. Also, there is always someone out there that is 10 times better than you, that is also trying to get to the same place as you.
As far as the NBA is concerned. Don't put all you eggs in one basket. The NBA only has 2 rounds in the draft and most second round picks don't even make the team.

Keep your grades up in school, so that you will have something to fall back on if the basketball thing doesn't work out. good luck to you though.

Well, I'd say you're pretty tall for a 14 year old. So you have a height advantage. You also have a good vertical. Are you sure you have a 30 inch vert? That's really high for your age..but yeah, you might have a chance if you work hard enough.

If you continue to make the GRADES and stay eligible as well as staying OUT OF TROUBLE with the law and school officials throughout the rest of your high school and college career and continue to improve as a player, your chances are excellent.

Sounds good, but don't neglect your education.

The road to the NBA is littered with talented people who just couldn;t make it
