When that person stops letting whatever or whoever it is that's affecting their life do that to them, as hard as it is to go from been a victim to been a survivor its is the only way for your own sanity and to move forward with your life again, victims feel sorry for themselves and survivors don't, been there, seen it and done it, thank god I have survived it.

When you make it through the abusive situation you are a survivor. However, once you have gotten away, one should seek some kind of counseling to assist in the healing process. One who has been abused and thankfully survived does not come out untouched, they need to work through the issues so they can move forward with their lives in a healthier manner. Not carrying through guilt, and anxiety from the past experiences. Every human being desires and deserves respect. God bless

It's all about self programming and society/culture programming. You are what you are programmed to be by yourself and by your acquis from the society (including family, school, work etc.). When you realize this and understand it, you will change step by step your behavior from "victim" to "survivor". I know it seems to be a foolish, but we are liers, we lie ourselves a lot and we program ourselves following these lies.
