Gaelic Storm about 2 weeks ago. It was pretty much half concert - half comedy show. The guys were really funny and they always had some sort of joke or story to introduce the next song. They also really encouraged the audience to sing along with some of the choruses. They played one song, Johnny Tarr, but first played a whole bunch of other songs (including Stairway to Heaven, Sweet Home Alabama, a blues song, and a Snoop Dogg song) with the lyrics changed to Johnny Tarr's.

The Up Close and Personal Tour with Chris Brown. Other artist on the tour were: Cherish, Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, and Dem Franchise Boys. The concert was AMAZING! I went with two of my close friends which made it even more fun. Brandon T Jackson was hilarious! All the performances were great especially Chris Brown's! I can't wait for his next concert.

Allmann Brothers with our 16 year old son, just this past August. Awesome concert featuring Gov't Mule. GM ROCKED SOLID. Had plenty of burnt out people to amuse us in the crowd as well. Everyone came out in their drug rugs, tie dyes and so on. Very cool, first time I wasn't "part of the party", but it was much better tail gating with our son and doing this with him than on our own.
He loves both bands now.

Last weekend we saw Gretchen Wilson with opening act Blaine Larsen, at an outdoor concert. It was awesome! Especially if you like country music. The pyrotechnics were great too. Too bad the pics we took didn't turn out the greatest.

Elvis Costello opened for the Rolling Stones. Elvis played all his best songs really fast and the songs had absolutely no spaces inbetween (it was really cold along Lake Michigan in Chicago). Elvis Costello never missed a beat, and I have never seen his band play so well. They were great. Then the Stones put on a flashy show complete with fireworks. They really rocked.
