Okay, here's my scenerio. Let's say my friends name was Patty. Patty is in despreate love this guys named Bob. Bob doesn't like Patty. Bob likes me (i'd hate to brag). Bob is a nice guy and is really funny and fun to talk to but I don't like him back. Then the news that Bob likes me get to by blabber mouth friend, Jessi. Jessi tells Bob how much I love him and makes up all these stories just so he can ask me out.
Patty meanwhile find out that he likes me. We were friends for a long time so she doesn't really get mad but she's kind of heart broken.
Jessi tells me that Bob want to go out with me and I say no. She goes over and says that I said yes. Now the rumor is all over school that Bob and I are going out and I know that patty is upset although she says that she isn't. What should I do?!

If you genuinely do not have any interest in Bob, tell him. Don't let Jessi continue to be the blabber mouth she's titled herself.
Sit down with Patti and tell her what is happening.
Friendship always over rules any guy.
Guys come and go but girlfriends are like family and they will be with you for many more years to come!

If you have been good true friends with Patty for a long time then your commitment and loyalty should be to her first and foremost. Boys come along all the time and you're still in school but friends, good friends are hard to find.
The longer you let this thing drag the harder it's going to get and the deeper the hole is going to get. So shut Jessi up and then tell Bob the truth. If you let it drag Bob's heart is going to break, you may lose a close friend and you'll hurt yourself in the process.

First you need to set things straight with "Bob". Tell him that you're sorry but you really don't want to go out with him at this point.
Then talk to Patty. A guy should never come between two best friends. Tell her she can do soo much better than Bob.
Tell Jessi that friends don't go telling stories about the other friend. Just ask her not to do it again.

talk to your friend and this guy,try to explain to them boththat although this guy likes you, you dont like him back don't let that big mouth Jessi be your go between for the 3 of you then let Bob and Patti talk they might find that they have somethings in common,who knows. GOOD LUCK!!

you should go and place a nice warm slap on jessy's face then go to patty and tell her how jessy messed it all up. then go to bob and tell him you aint going around with him coz you dont like him and that it was jessy who lied to him. get the picture? now go and start off. happy going!
