I had this problem. Turn the jeans inside out after you've carefully stitched up the tear. Then get some iron on patches that are very good & stick it over the inside right over the tear & it should hold if the tear isn't very big.

Well the only way you can do it is to get some squares of fabric and sew it on that way. Because it's not going to work with jean fabric... once it tears, it's a done deal. I mean, if it isn't necessary to patch it, you can rock the tear! Just get a seam ripper so you can fray and tear it the way you want it, and throw it in the washer, and you have yourself a pair of rugged jeans for free instead of paying like 100 bucks for designer torn jeans. But that's just a thought.

Well if my jeans tear I like to keep them that way and so does my sister but if you want the hole fixed I guess you could sew a patch with cute fabric over it. That would look kinda cool.

take a square of jean material then turn the jeans inside out then glue the square onto the patch using fabric glue.

YOu can add some vintage flare to your jeans by patching it up with a bright patterned fabric....i have done it with a pair of my jeans and it looks sooo cute!!!
