Because it is "proper" not to show extreme concern , especially during the getting to know you stage. Natural for girls to feel shy at first. Make her feel at ease then things will come by naturally if you are meant for each other. Nothing to worry about.

Because girls are meant to do that -- WASTE TIME OF OTHER PEOPLE...
Just go and tell her.. ask her for a direct answer..
Don't waste time and ur precious brain on trying to dig out a answer to a problem that never existed.
If she does have some feeelings stored in for you then u will surely get the answer..
I am not an expert on girls psycology..

The girl is shy!
Maybe the guy has been too enthusiastic. Some people like to start off as friends first.
Or the other possible reason is the girl dun like the guy and dunnoe how to tell it to him without hurting him

i do not think that is a general case. but yes, by nature girls are shy & do not like to reveal their feelings unless they re very sure of the boy & his intentions.
a oy may be liking many girls, how can she be sure that his feelings are genuine. in such cases its better to be a little wary rather than be sorry later.

i knw many gals wit good feelins.....at the same time i knw some, who r jst lik wat u said....i.e acting to b unaware....
i personally feel tat, they cant jst xpress their feelings...
wel, u cant blame such a gal....its in her genes....take a close watch on her, and im sure....she wud b damn smart in all other things.....only wen it comes to this she fails...
