Apparantly, his campaign staffers send out hundreds of letters to Hispanic voters telling them if they voted, they'd be put in jail. Police went thorugh his HQ w/search warrants, then on to his home. I didn't see whether he was arrested himself. Do anyone know? Intimidation of voters--way to go!

I fail to understand all the outrage at this latest Rovian tactic.

What the heck do people expect when both the White House and the Congressional leadership continuously generate amoral, sociopathic, obfuscational, prejudice cultivating subterfuges in the certain knowledge that religious faith or fear of everything will blind their followers to the corruption in which elected Republicans have intentionally enmeshed themselves.

Power for power's sake, and to benefit the very few at the terrible expense of the many.

Under our system of "justice," we need to of course give him the opportunity to explain himself. However, whether his staff did this under his direction, or without his knowledge, face it - he should face it and assume responsibility. As his agents, the staff act under his authority - even if really "outside" his desires.

Our entire political system has become way to focused on the "win" and not the opportunity to make something better. In all his campaigning (and he is certainly not alone in this), it is clear the only thing that is truly important is to win the election. Wouldn't it be amazing to have candidates who actually were in the contest to focus on issues - and win-or-lose - they create an ebb of opinion which moves people to do the right thing?!?

i do no longer think of any ethnic team is going to "take over" California. and that i fail to work out how the object is "stupid" as one poster claims. i'm no longer attentive to the internet internet site, besides the indisputable fact that it incredibly is in simple terms a itemizing of expenditures (that are genuine expenditures that have been somewhat, made) via distinctive racist human beings. As somebody else stated, those are surely shown. If the object is "stupid", needless to say the charges are "stupid" (to no longer point out racist) as properly!! i spotted a number of posters attacking the internet internet site, yet ignoring the charges. it is tactic is used via people who have no logical argument, won't be able to dispute the data, so as that they hotel to attacking the source!!! extensive-unfold advert hominem tactic...

Another repuglican cover up? It wouldn't surprise me if there was no repuglicans left in congress. Three weeks to go and they are being on covered at a fast pace. Oh well we need democrats to provide checks and balance to the government anyway.

First of all, the letters said that if they were illegal and tried to vote that they'd be imprisoned.
No, he was not arrested himself. There is no proof that he had any knowledge of it.

He wasnt arrested, when he found out who was doing it they were fired. He was appalled by what had happened and he said he wants them to find out if there were others involved so he could fire them as well, he was cooperating with authorities but he wouldnt be arrested unless they found some evidence he was involved....
