A poser is someone who dresses or acts a certain way because they think acting will make them into what they act like, or to impress people. ('Look at me, I listen to Sonic Youth, I must be hip.") A wannabe is pretty much the same thing as a poser. A goth is someone who enjoys the darker side of life, usually interested in music, philosophy, literature, long angst-ridden discussions on the meaning of life, and Peter Murphy. (Teasing.) A poser is someone who wants to appear to be into something
(a group or lifestyle) but doesn't actually belong in it. Example: A guy wearing a Harley-Davidson T-shirt, and a sticker on the back of his truck but he has never owned or ridden a motorcycle in his life. Sometimes a wannabe is the same thing. A goth person is into wearing all black, and is usually interested in death and vampires.
I think they are just trying to make themselves look mysterious and tough. People don't look tough, they are or they aren't, and if you are you don't care what someone looks like.

A poser is someone who acts like someone they arent and tries to be like another group or person
A wannabe is kinda like a poser...its someone who tries to hard to be accepted by a group but is really just lame
A goth person is someone that is like always depressed and always wears a ton of black
