I took a training course and an internship, I always dress properly and I dont talk a lot. How can companys do that? if they don't hire people with no experience they should give them a chance that's what I think.

Sorry to here that... Some company's do this because they want to hire the cheapest employee, the one without the experience, so they can train that person. Maybe it is cheaper for them to train and have those employees stay more on the job than to hire someone with the experience and have that person job hopping looking for the next best deal... It is pretty sad, but that is how some jerk employers think. I personally know a restaurant owner that is going to close his restaurant for a couple of months to do remodelling but the main goal is to be able to let go his employees that are earning the highest wages since they have been on the job for so long. This way he willl then hire new people and pay them less!!!! What a jerk heh?

Depends on the company you go to. I have an MBA and over 30 years experience. I have found many firms where the person you work for does not want people who are smarter than them; have better education credentials; nor, have done more in their career than they have done themselves. While some may tell you to 'dumb down' the resume to get in the door, the fact remains your knowledge and skill sets will come out if you are 'yourself' in an interview. Blame part of it on the wave of layoffs and insecure bosses who know how to 'play office politics' and lay the balme on their underlings better. Take a look and you'll find how many articles there are about 'bosess from Hell' as of late.

Depending on the type of company it could be your age. Many companies will always try and hire the ones that cost the least, even if it affects job performance.

there are a lot of factors not covered in training and the higher paying companies don't want to take the time to train, time is money.
