The Adam West and Dick Ward versions were campy and fun. I still can't decide if I like the Julie Newmar cat woman or the Eartha KIt. They were both good and different in their own way. I love the way they did a fight scene with BAM!! POP! and other things on the screen just like it would look in a comic book.
I also did enjoy the Michael Keaton batman movies. I was unsure of that when I first heard it was coming out everyone said " Mr. Mom being Batman???" But I liked it!!! Val KIlmer to me seemed to young to be believable in the role and George Clooney just did not have the right type of charm.

I enjoyed the animated series and I even liked Batman Beyond.

The movie Batman begins even though I feel that this genre is being over done was actually good and did go back to the roots of the original concept.

All three of the old Batman actors were good to some extent.

Michael Keaton was the best Batman/Bruce Wayne overall, but Val Kilmer was a good Batman and Geroge Clooney was a good Bruce Wayne.

I don't think true Batman fans will go and see the re-make of Tim Burton's Batman, it's just wrong to mess with prefection.

I must say that I prefer the old version. I mean hey who can beat the one where Jim Carey stars as Joker? Also Christian Bale as Batman was I must say a bad idea.

I prefer the old ones. I used to get up early on a saturday and watch them. I loved the speech marks that appeared and the wop, pow smack. That is classic tv!
I like the new ones for the effects etc but you can't beat the old times

Old one Was Adam West and (i think from memorg) Something (Dick?) Ward.

Personally i Like Bale's performance as it is much closer to Bob Kane's original conception, however the Tim Burton films were fantastically filmed

The only good Batman was the animated one. I think all the movies miss the character entirely.
