Well, food is not a substitution for whatever hurt you are feeling. Don't go backwards - go forward. Everytime you want to run back to your ex - think of why you left him in the first place. Your hurt will never go away if you continue using food etc. as a way to comfort yourself. Talk to someone, or write down what you are feeling and why.

There are a couple of things that I do to stop "hurt eating." #1. I always carry a large pack of gum with my where ever I go. When I have those thoughts I chew a stick of gum. #2. (This is the most effective thing I do) If the gum fails to work, take a seat in a quiet or peaceful place. Now that your sitting down close your eyes and start breathing very deep and slowly. Keep your eyes closed and keep breathing deep throughout this excercise. Ok, now you will start with your face. Scrunch your face with your muscles and concentrate on how it feels, then relax and concentrate on how that feels. Take three deep breaths. Tense your neck muscles and notice how this feels, relax now and notice how that feels. Use this pattern of tensing and relaxing throughout (from the beginning) your face, neck, chest, arms, fists, legs, calfs, feet.

next time go talk to a g/f. if you have noone to call then call a crisis hotline. get yourself in counselling and learn to deal with the situation without stuffing yourself. if you stop the stuffing with food....and still don't deal with it, you will just end up finding something else to stuff yourself with. weather it be sex, drugs, relationship, gambling, alcohol, shopping, tv. theres always some way of avoiding the issues that have hold of you, but there are always ways that you can deal with them so they don't consume you to a point were you need to shove each feeling down with food

Why are you punishing yourself for some guy? when you do something like that he wins and you lose. get past him and find a better guy and let him see you with him and let your ex suffer because someone else is in your bed.

it isnt so bad.like you said he is your ex, so whar he thinks does not matter. your ex is part of your past and the past is old news. look to the future and worry about what it holds for you. believe stuffin urself doesnt take the hurt away. lovin yourself does. pls take care of your self and worry not.

Hon, just forget it. It doesn't matter what he thinks, says or does about that. Everyone has their ways of letting out steam, or just dealing with grief. Don't worry about it.
