Did the player come with it's own uninstall??

Check in the Start>Program under the realone folder to see if there is a uninstall listed. If not then....

Check in the Windows Folder on your C: Drive. If not there then.....

Do a File/Folder search using the Search tool in the Start Menu. If the Search tool doesn't come up with the uninstall then....

You have two choices. The first is easy, the second not as easy and can cause problems to your Windows.

The first is to go to the Website the program comes from and check their FAQ for uninstalling the program. Make sure you check everywhere on the Website. If that doesn't work, then....

You will have to edit the Registry. This is not something to do lightly for if you delete the wrong stuff, your Windows will not work and you will have to reinstall Windows.

Is Realone player part of the Memory Hog RealPlayer?? RealPlayer (and it's siblings) are as much as a memory hog as Windows is, and as bad with spam and other spyware as AOL. Their are better programs to play audio and video formats: IE Winamp, Irfanview and other programs. Just go to www.downloads.com for many free or paid programs.

Try using RegCleaner. It has an uninstall function for all the programs and cleans your registry.
