both great bands but I'd have to say Nirvana.

I love Nirvana because their songs are alot harder than Pearl Jam's and just a bit better, but since Pearl Jam are still around and their latest album rocks pretty hard I'd have to say them.

how could eddie vedder be a poser? that was in like '92!! oh my god how does that even apply to people now days. the grunge era INVENTED that.

obviously i pick pearl jam. nirvanas music is great but i dont feel like i really connect with it like i do with pearl jam. pearl jam just has so much more meaning for me.

plus..eddie vedder is still around and looking great while kurt cobain is...well dead. and i think that may have a little bit of a part that makes nirvana more popular because he is no longer.

I was supposed to see nirvana in concert but the silly **** shot himself so its pearl jam all the way

nirvana edges it. i don't mind bands doing experimental albums, but they still have to be good and pearl jam have struggled with this since about 1996.
