My cheerleading competition is in like two hours and I am so nervous!!! What do I do? Like how do I calm down my nervousness. I'm not afraid to do things in front of people and I have done this before!! How do I calm myself down?

Have you trained hard? Have you practiced frequently? If you have, then just sit down and concentrate on how you have practiced, how you are ready and prepared for you competition, and how your cheerleading performance will go.

Visualize each step of your routine. Picture yourself doing everything flawlessly. Just keep visualizing yourself performing your routine successfully, over and over. Visualize each step from start to finish. Visualize each step of it, from your movements to your breathing and every other aspect.

Think over and over how you are prepared and how this will be easy and how everything you will do today you have done before and done successfully in practice.

Visualization is a powerful tool in competitions such as this. I use visualization when I am lifting weights and it helps me succeed.

come on don't be nervous, you've done this before! just think about how good you did in the previous ones, and you'll be fine. listen to music, watch tv, whatever calms you down. i'm sure you'll do great!

Breath deeply .... calm yourself .... have a cold shower ..then a hot shower ... then a cold shower .... continue to breath deeply ... you said yourself you've done this like a hundred times before .... breath deeply ...

If all this fails ..... theres always drugs and alcohol ....j/k

You'll be fine .... all that training and practice will kick in and everything will just fall into place

get a long warm bath, normally works for me :) not too lnog that you miss your competition like!!

take a tynenol it will calm your nerves
