i know she died, but how and when. i heard her daughter is an actress. why cant minnie get a tribute? i oct. or her voice is/ was beautiful only a few i have heard can get that. mariah carey for one and my girl teena marie. but why havae many forgotten about her? sure would love to hear someone try and redo her music.

She died of cancer years ago...her daughter is Maya Rudolph on Saturday Night Live.

the songbird died of cancer in the 80's (sorry I can't tell the year), but OMG what a loss. I have her albums and the octaves she can sing!!!!
