Ring them on the phone. Tell them you have no service yet & give detailed info on the issue. Then ask them to "adjust my bill to reflect the loss of service to my account, please" . Sometimes they will rebuke you but you tell them that you will file a report/claim against them. Explain that you signed a contract for a service (24 hrs per day for X amount of time) & the service was not provided which is a "breach" of that contract that should be restituted to you. You didn't receive the service, why should you pay?

Then pitch a fuss about being very upset because this is not the "consumer experience" that you saw in the advert. Doesn't this communucations service company provide it's service with the customer in mind? with the emphisis is on "provide it's service"!!

That should do it
Good Luck!

Get through to their equivalent to 'Customer Care' department.. They would not knowingly try to cheat you for £6.99. Phone them now.

Ring you provider, ASAP or write to them, they might give u a freebie, like a brand new telephone set.

If u do not get any answers, i would report this to either watchdog or the trading standards.

GOOD LUCK!
