Go to the doctor's and explain the problem. It probably is thrush though, and it's not dangerous, just a little irritating. Canesten Thrush Cream will clear it up.

Thrush.....and calm down ...Thrush is nothing more than a yeast infection in the vagina. it is not an STD and does not mean anything offensive toward your sexual behavior. A yeast infection is caused by a variance in the normal PH balance inside your vagina and can come from something as simple as taking bubble baths...., the detergent you wash your clothes in, taking antibiotics, and the list goes on.... Yeast infections are very common in women and you can go to the drugstore and get an over the counter medication that you can use at home to cure it. The medication has to be inserted into the vagina and comes in a cream with an applicator tube or in a vaginal suppository form.
It will not ruin your virginity as it is not inserted far enough to reach your hymen. Talk to you Mom and tell her you think you may have a yeast infection...symptoms include a whitish discharge with an odor of yeast. The discharge can be curdled like cottage chesse or thick or thin depending on the severity of the infection. You should also experience some discomfort in your vaginal area...maybe an itch or a slight burning sensation and you may find your skin around your vaginal area is red.
All this will clear up with the medication. One name brand is
Monistat. If you need help finding it ..the pharmacist can help you in the drugstore.

Good Luck and calm down ..it's just a simple woman thing

Yes, it may be a yeast infection, but it also may be Bacterial vaginosis (BV) which is even more common. I gave you a link below so you can read up on it. Many ladies will treat themselves for yeast infection and not even have it. Bacterial vaginosis requires antibiotics which you do have to see a doctor to get.

Both BV and yeast infections are very common among women and very curable so don't be scared. There can be help if you go see your doctor. If you had a cut that was not healing well you would see the doctor so please don't be embarassed to go see one. I recommend a lady doc. :) Good luck!

Sounds like you may have a yeast infection. If it is it's not a big deal you can get an over the counter med. at any drug store. If the discharge is cottage cheese like that is more than likely what it is.

You should go to your doctor to get that checked out. It can be normal but you don't want to take any chances.
