I say it depends a lot on the situation, are you in contact with this person? was a prior agreement that she would be back? if you have tried to get in touch with her regarding her stuff and she has not called you back or has not made any arangments I would say a year is fair game, any thing that might be of value (sentimental or otherwise) I might hold onto for ransom, but the rest chuck it, sell it, use it, what ever
cheers

u may use them, if they are suitable for man's use..Contact her, and ask her whether she cares about them or not. According to her response, and to the value of the remaining stuff u may throw the junk, or sell them. She seems to have forgotten them all. They probably mean nothing to her, else she'd have come to ask you during this 1 year's time

If you can contact her, do it. Give her a deadline to retrieve her things. After that do with them what you will. If you cannot contact her, put a brief ad in the notices column of the local paper giving notice. After two weeks, your choice.

have you tried contacting her? if you can't get in touch with her - do whatever you want. if you think it may be of value (sentimental or otherwise), hang on to it. she may be back someday looking for it.

99 years should do it. You can charge storage fees if you wish before you give it back.
