Every year I host the Christmas party, inviting 6 girls to my house to spend the night. Last year was the best yet. I cleaned the basement and set up stations: Santa's Workshop, Pin the nose of the reindeer, a construction paper fireplace on the wall, construction paper walkway, mini tree, stockings, and secret santa.
This year we are having the secret santas again and stockings, but I need a theme. Any ideas on decorations and games? Be realistic, people. (I can't have a big tree down there either and preferably no buying decor)

I played this game at a baby shower and it was kind of fun...

Every one brings stuff that is decent but they don't want any more. The stuff ranged from a picnic basket to clothes with the tags still on it. Number everything starting with 1 and so on...The night before cut small squares of paper and on them write the numbers, along with truths, dares, silly fortunes etc. You have to make a lot..the hotess made about 30 per guest. You got a handful and as you unwrapped them you got a gift, a challenge etc. It was pretty funny and it is a great way to recycle stuff that is too good to throw away but you don;t want cluttering the house.

You could also spend the night cooking as a group making whatever you want (cookies, candies etc) and take them to the local shelter..if you are domestically inclined.

Make a bunch of paper snowflakes all different except 2. Tape them to a wall and see who can find the 2 that match first.
