South Korea has deployed 120,000 troops to Iraq. They have fought with us anywhere we have fought, if we need anyone to back us, south korea is there. South korea deployed 300,000 to vietnam and suffered 16,000 casualties with 5,000 deaths just to back us. They are our number one ally. Please don't say "Nuke N orth Korea" Many south koreans familys extend to the north. I am currently stationed in south korea about 8 miles from the north. The southerners want a peaceful resolution, it could end peacfully.

I have been in South Korea also for almost 2 and a half years. This is not the first **** the North Koreans have pulled. For example the missiles the launched in July of this year. I think it is about time to show them tough love, we can do this by continuing with the sanctions set forth by the U.N. By reducing them just because they decide to start six party talks again is total bull ****. If they don't start making Kim Jung ill pay there may be another Korean war but this time it will be nuclear and alot more South Korean AND AMERICAN lives will be lost.

I believe that most Americans realize how good a Friend and how big an Allie South Korea is. I don't think anyone in America wants to Nuke anyone including North Korea. I just wish your students that protest wanting America out of South Korea would think about the results of that happening would be for you. I believe if American troops pulled out of South Korea your little fat friend up north would invade as soon as they were all out

My father fought in the Korean Conflict...there's long standing relations between the US and South Korea...the US has had a vested interest to keep peace in that region for a long time. I haven't heard a soul utter those nuke words. Chill, babe.

I have an uncle who was a North Vietnamese soldier at that time. He said the South Korean soldiers were the worse he have ever faced, American soldiers even better.
Anyway, I like all Koreans and think they are very good people in peace, they might not suite for war.

Yes the split of family between N ad s korea makes it a biogger mess. The question is whether
Kim Jung will be willing to give up his nuke program peacefully.Im not sure if he would. The guy is carzy and vey smart and I dont think he believes giving up his nucular program will be
productive for him .If thats the casw S Korea has to ask whether miltary action would be nesary in order to insure peace .
