Americans want to 'feel safer'

Iragis should want freedom.

The world want's participating representational forms a govn't that 'behave'.

After all, no 'democracy' has ever fallen to an outside force or sucuumbed to revolution. And the US has the longest lasting 230 year, stable form of govn't. Wouldn't everybody want this for their own (country)?

It seems a great number of people think he did it for the oil. If that's the case it sure didn't work. Look at what's happened to the USA. The gas prices are at 2.50 a gallon and we've been brainwashed into thinking it's a good deal. Just wait 6 months. It will be 3.50 a gallon. It goes up every April. I've been watching it for years. Everything is more expensive because of this damn war. America is ruined as far as I'm concerned. It will never be the same. Americans live with their heads in the sand. And I'm one of them. I don't believe we invaded Iraq to save the people either. There's 50 countries that need invading if that's the case. Maybe we should invade North Korea to save the people from that mad man. NO, there's a third explaination out there. They're hiding it from us very well. The spin doctors have done their job. I haven't a clue as to the real reason we invaded Iraq.

Yes. I worked as a contractor in Iraq for three years (Baghdad and Basra). The invasion stopped the Kurdish and Shi'ite Genocide. I have been to the mass graves and spoke to families. Despite the Madi Militia working with the Al Aqsa Martyrs and Iranian supported Al Qaeda, the average Iraqi now has more disposable cash (the Iraqi Dinar has more buying power than ever), a better level fo health care and access to more education. For those people who will undoubtledly give me a thumbs down, I speak from boots on the ground experience. What's your experience? Watching the news or using cnn.com? Before you judge, experience that which you choose to judge.

Perhaps it is.you kown, what we kown about this issue are not all the thing but these things on surface, just the reports medias exposed to the publics. What happened on earth we can never kown only if we can get into Mr Bush's power centre.so it's hard to say wether Mr.BUSH is honest or not.
And,as everyone kown,he just want to steal the oil. if we are as strong as America we must think the same as him...
just a joke.

absolutely not,if you just sit down and think about it Mr. bush is nothing more than Saudi Arabia's assassin.every country he wants to attack(Iraq,Afghanistan,Iran,Syria, etc.)all have one thing in common.if he attacks them, the Saudis inherit a larger margin of oil sales.this is why attacking North Korea for the same reason as Iran(nuclear weapons)was never an option.i mean come on isn't it obvious it's all about the oil.for example:when the first Mr. Bush went there it was to free Kuwait.mission accomplished and we got out.the second Mr. Bush went there to get Saddam out of power and rid him of weapons of mass destruction.well Saddams out of power, and there was no weapons but we stayed there.so in the mean time the only one benifiting from it all is the Saudis.sometimes if you just think about it the answer is right in front of our faces.

If you are an american citizen, you would know that the US government does't pay one dollar for charity. Would this government pay all these billions for the sake of "Iraqis"??!

It doesn't need a question. Bush couldn't care less about the Iraqis, and his government gave Saddam the gas he used against the Kurds.

No! If that was the reason he is dumber then we thought. He just is grasping for answers some of us might believe to make him and the Republicans look better. The fact that he would now say such a thing proves he has no respect for the general population or our values.

No - if he was really trying to do something for an oppressed people with dictators who have weapons of mass destruction(not just ones with oil) he would have invaded north Korea?
