I can't really recommend one so it's probably best that

guitar is not easy to learn, it takes some hard work and there is some physical pain involved (your hands, wrist, and fingers WILL hurt). While a piano has 80 some playable notes, most guitars have 130 or so.
The best thing to do is take lessons from somebody that already knows, even if it's just a friend. If you can't do that, get a starter book at your local music store (make sure it has a play along cd) and go from there.
Don't get discouraged and always have fun with it.
GET A METRONOME.

I get guitar tab off the internet all the time for free. Most of it is correct but sometimes you have to sort out the B.S. if you know what I mean. Good luck playing guitar. I taught myself how to play about 12 years ago and now I play almost every day. You have good taste in music by the way. Iron Maiden ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

M sorry this ain't an answer, but, actually speaking, i myself want to learn how to play guitar here.[except a couple of sites which offer alot n lot n lot of text to read and nothing give away free]

Guitar isn't an easy instrument to learn. If your serous get Gary Turners beginner guitar with CD/DVD and start there If you can complete this course you may do alright.
