As an Irishman who spent most of my life in this country, I confess my first loyalty is to England and its people.

There was never a point when I said that Britain should change its policies to accommodate my beliefs of way of life.

If I had not been happy here, I would have left. My loves have been English, my friends are English, my home is a former English Chapel.

Every day I listen as people tell me how dissatisfied and distressed they are with the way this country is being 'taken over' by others.

Living in Britain is a privilege, not a 'right'. When I first arrived here, I discovered the most wonderful people on the planet. The moral standards people maintained were high and in the main it was a happy land.

This is not the case today and I can understand why the citizens of this land desire things to return to what they once were.

The current parties offer more of the same. They have long ceased to listen to the voice of the voters.

I will spend the rest of my life here, but I will not leave behind me the most wonderful country it has been my privilege to have found in the first place.

If you hold an extreme view you're going to get slated one way or the other.
I haven't read the BNP manifesto as we've never had a candidate in our area so I've never had to make the choice.
We have three indistinguishable middle of the road parties at present; so yeah we do need a serious choice of political party both to right and the left.
Are the BNP the right choice, don't know but suspect that the people vote for them as a protest vote rather than beleiving the BNP are serious political threat to the main 3.

I think its an image problem of racist skinheads from the '80s. Personally I was brought up not to be so narrow minded as this and a lot of people in the UK seem to be blind to the fact that a lot of the minority groups living in the UK are no longer first and second generation. Their parents were either brought here to support a dwindling post war population in manufacturing and labour intensive industries. Or given the option to move here following the collapse of the British Empire having devoted a lifetime to its service.
I believe there is a lot more to being British than being a WASP. Its our varied make up that makes us the nation we are. I think people worry too much about a loss of identity when they start thinking of the EU and the Euro - if anything we should be using this as an opportunity to widen our horizons and open our eyes to how the world sees us

Yep i have read it and some of their policies are sensible for instance on the enviroment. However there are a lot of absolutley frightening ideas there too with regards to national security, immigrants, middle class workers and other areas.

The BNP cloak their evil behind their good policies like all fascists do, iron hand in the silky glove. A BNP govt would be the worst thing that could happen to Britain.

Read the BNP manifesto in full if you like horror stories about the future and then make sure it never becomes reality.

They do seem to get pretty bad press. It amuses me how people accuse the government of being liers and then when they are told (by the government) that the BNP are all racist thugs they believe them. Hypocracy! However they do seem to have a lot of thugs in their group who are out and out racist and that just gives the screaming liberals more ammunition. I once saw a young man (Of the BNP) in his early 20's on television being interviewed and he was very well spoken, well dressed and his arguements were well structured and informed. This is not the image that the government want the public to see of the BNP. They need to clean up their house and get rid of the blatant racist thugs. And before you judge them look at their manifesto, i think then they may start to do very well.

I've read their manifesto and it does not read much differently from that of the NSDAP in 1933. By the way, what is National Service labour mentioned in the section on food production? It seems to me to be a euphemism for slave labour based on the Nazi's German Labour Front. If we change Britain's agricultural methods to that outlined in the manifesto the population would have to be reduced drastically. How is the BNP going to do that? A bit of judicious ethnic cleansing perhaps?

Hello, to start of I just want to say that your question is a really good one and it is true people are ignorant when they hear about B.N.P. I agree with some of the things that they say, for example like not letting people from other European countries to come in because they do not have War over there, but to be honest my friend the reason why the Goverment wanted to do this was because they want more people to come in so they can pay more TAX to the Goverment or whoever is sitting behind them. I am not a racist person because we all came from Prophet Adam and that is what I believe deeply, but the Goverment needs to fix up with the things that they are doing because I see what they are doing and if it is true what the British National Party is saying about the Iraq War respect to them because the troops over in Iraq is not fighting War for good cause and I feel it for the soldiers who do not agree with the War and who want to make Iraq a better country, but we really do not know peoples real true intentions are and we all need to remember that because it is all in their core of their minds and we cannot see the truth, but if what they say is true I agree with the British National Party manifesto's.

Bless.

I had half a mind to Join the B.N.P once. But I was told that made me over qualified. Remember the millions who died fighting Nazi Scum like this and honour their memory. Patriotism is the last refuse of a scoundrel. I did try to read the Manifesto after I had got over my laughing fit, I thought what can I use it for now?, It didn't even make good toilet paper as it was too shiny!. Can you ask them to print it on something a little softer and more absorbent next time please.

Maybe they are just a bunch of losers who have achieved nothing in life - want something for nothing and want to blame someone else when they don't get it.
There are lots of people willing to do the jobs the rest of us would not touch with a barge pole - if they are willing to work hard and earn a decent living, abide by our law and contribute - all power to them - better than some of the lousy scum who believe in hate and violence.
Sorry - i just feel it's a small world and there is no room for people like that in it! We have seen ' National Parties' rise before with tragic consequences - lets not let it happen again - society is about looking after each other and building a system that works through mutual effort, care and contribution, we should be expending our effort on educating our kids, building our society, our hospitals, protecting our environment and looking after our old and sick - not in picking fights in our own society - thats a waste of time and energy.
Agendas and manifestos are rarely ( if ever) intended to convey the truth - they are intended to get your vote or your money - thats all.

Read it, laughed, re-cycled it.

Express your views, fine - democracy in action.

Are you suggesting the other British political parties are FOR a war AGAINST British troops in Iraq? - I must vote for them all, WAR is a really nice horseman when you take the time to get to know him. Didn't realise he had so many other fans.
