There is no "end" to the universe; it is (probably) finite but unbounded (check out advanced math books for more info).

Although, according to Douglas Adams, and he should know, there is a restaurant at the end of the universe called Millie's. Reservations required.

Spatial energetic and molecular interactions and/or counteractions occurring on a level we cannot measure. There is no true emptiness or void in the universe, beyond the universe is a redundant statement. The universe constantly expands the boundaries of what we can comprehend. What we refer to as a universe is the cross section of a larger multiverse. We cannot measure or log the existence of these other realms and planes of existence because of how limited we are in our existential capacity. At the 'end' of the universe is the universe waiting to put a new marker on 'the end of the universe'.

G'day Tonto,

Thank you for your question.

Astronomers believe that there is no end of the universe even though it is constantly expanding. There are three possibilities as to why this is so apparently:

* it is a closed universe without a boundary;

* it is open or has negative curvature;

* it is flat.

As yet, scientists don't know which applies.

The alternate explanation by Douglas Adams is that it is a restaurant called Milliways. If that is the case, don't speak with the android. :>)

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards

Nothing is a vacuum but no one knows if the universe has an end.

whenever a vacuum is created we say there is nothing in that place of vacuum. The empty Space devoid of matter in the universe is thus termed as nothing. Sooo at the end of the big ol' Universe, there is just vacuum or as you so rightly put it, nothing. Anything that doesn't have matter is nothing. Make sense?

Nothing? Are you kidding? There's a couple of Starbucks locations at the end of the universe.

Nothing is actually something because everything has to be something.......we just dont know what it is.
There is no end to the universe, if there was it would need to have two ends, even an end has to have a beginning which is, in its self an end.

Oho I know this one...Nothing is what my kids answer when I ask them what they were doing to make the table topple over and the lamp crash to the floor.
Wow, some kids! To be able to import Nothing from the end of the universe.
